

Īrriving in Hell's capital city of New Hades, Johnny and Kinzie find that the Ultor Corporation has a branch here and confront their CEO and former Saints enemy, Dane Vogel ( Jay Mohr). Satan then drags the Boss down to Hell, and Johnny Gat ( Daniel Dae Kim) and Kinzie volunteer to rescue them. The Third Street Saints hold a birthday party for lieutenant Kinzie Kensington ( Natalie Lander) on their spaceship, but while playing a game of Ouija with a board that once belonged to Aleister Crowley, they unwittingly contact Satan ( Travis Willingham), who proclaims that the Boss ( Troy Baker, Kenn Michael, Robin Atkin Downes, Laura Bailey, Diane Michelle, Sumalee Montano, or Nolan North) will marry his daughter Jezebel ( Kate Reinders). the Gluttony Gun that shoots cake batter on enemies for other people to consume). I could pretty much say the missions had the right energy to them and more diverse than the ones in SR2 but thats just it. With SRTT I can cherrypick what I thought was good in addition to the series, only on what had potential. Maximizes it and draws more ire from its further exaggeration of those elements (Or the elements they originally intended for SRTT). The newer games on the other hand seem to just go off of the problems of SRTT in relation to the older games an just runs with it. It was more of 1 step forward and 2 steps backward. There is no way people who had played SR2 first could say SRTT is the best in the series.

I think SRTT was the middle ground where at worst it just undelivered in a lot of areas compared to SR2 but some of the additions weren't that far off from the series prior, even if its story was underwhelming, and the change in Shaundi as well as a lot of lacking character interaction outside of just diversion cutscene transitions is lame.
