Other members that do not want to depend on the Cricut cartridges and want to design using SCAL are buying other machines.

(If you already own and just need to update, you can go to download support at CE's site and get 2.044 there). It is no longer available for purchase and those that own it can't transfer it to you. Unfortunately, you must have purchased SCAL2 a little while back to now get access to it. I purchased a cricut for my wife for christmas not knowing that she wouldnt be able to use scal.any help would be awesome! What version would you use? WhatI'd really like to do is update my activate it from my laptop, andinstall it on my new laptop. I don't even know thedifferences between the versions that I have. My questionis.what version should I keep so I don't loose my ability to cut to mycricut? I would like both computers to be the same so when I use it and getfamiliar with it again, they function the same. My question is this.I have 2.041 on my desktop,2.043 on my laptop, but I have the download for 2.044 saved.
